What is HVAC? HVAC is the technology of indoor and vehicular environmental comfort. HVAC goal is to provide the best thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air quality. This system design is a sub discipline of engineering based on the principles of thermodynamics and heat transfer development. It is also common to use refrigeration sometimes and add to the field’s abbreviation circuit breakers. This type of technology is also important part of residential structures such as single family homes apartment buildings or senior living facilities and also medium facilities such as family homes, hotels, apartments, marine environments and etc.
Ventilating and ventilation the V in the word HVAC is the process of exchanging air in any space to prove high indoor air and quality which usually involves and includes temperature control, oxygen replacement, moisture remove, odors, smoke, heat, dust, carbon dioxid and other supplements.
Ventilation on the other hand includes both exchanges of air to the outside as well as circulation of air within the building. This is one of the most important factors for maintaining acceptable indoor air quality in buildings.
HVAC cooling system is executed in individual buildings and other enclosed spaces for example lets take NORAD’s underground headquarters. The equipment involves in some cases an extension of district heating or district cooling network and a combined DHC network. HVAC system was invented by Nikolay Lvov Michael Faraday, Willis Carrier, Edwin Rood, Wiliam Rankin and many other famous scientists and inventors. In 1902 Alfred Wolf designed the first condition device for the New York stock exchange while at the same time Willis Carrier equipped the Sackets printing company with the process AC unit in the same year. But the best thing is that the component of the HVAC maintenance system was invented along with the industrial revolution which means that as revolution make the progress so is the HVAC system.
If we take a look at the distribution in the case of hot water or steam, piping is used to transport the heat to the rooms. Modern hot water boilers have the advanced system of circulating water which used with the pump. The heat can be transferred to the surrounding air using radiators hot water coils and other heat exchangers. Today radiators could be put on the walls or be installed within the floor to produce floor heat. The use of water as the heat transfer is today known as the hydraulics.
If we see the other side of this medal we will notice this system is emitting a lot of different dangerous gasses such as nitrogen oxides, formaldehyde, volatile organic compounds, and others. So without a proper ventilation, carbon monoxide can be lethal at concentrations of 1000 ppm and can also cause headaches, fatigue, nausea and vomiting.
